As you know Stuart Bromhead ran the London Marathon 2011 on April 17. LSEB Web are pleased to report that Stuart completed the London marathon in a fantastic time of 4 hours 40 minutes and 15 seconds (11 seconds according to Stuarts watch!). There to support Stuart where is wife and son, along with Neal, Michelle’s cousin. The family managed to see Stuart as he passed the 18 mile marker, still looking like he had pliantly of running left in the tank, and again with 1 mile to go, where Stuart stopped to give a kiss to both Michelle and is son, Samuel.
Seeing his family in that last mile give Stuart the energy to speed up and sprint to the finish, passing all that where in the way, with no one passing him.
Thank you also the Asthma UK for their support all around the course giving sweets, high fives and cheers. Also for the massage after the race. Boy did the legs need it.
The memories will live long of the support of the crowd, other runners and the different sights seen along the way.
